Confusion about Some Terms

Post by pseudoscientist » Thu Jan 11, 2007 3:34 am

Even though I have taken several biology classes, I can never remember how DNA, genes, chromosomes (and a couple other relevant words I can't remember) correlate with one another. Do chromosomes make up DNA? Or is it the other way around? And what are genes anyway and what do they have to do with DNA? etc.

It would be great if someone could explain it to me, preferably in layman terms.
