How does a Eukaryotic cell break and consume fat molec

I have a project due to show through illustration how a eukaryotic cell breaks apart a fat molecule, what is produced when broken down and where those products go in the cell. My neither Biology 111 book nor does the internet give these specifics about how a cell uses a fat molecule. Can anyone help with this information? Thank you!

google for alpha, beta and omega-oxidation.
Glycerol is phosphoylated to glycerol-3-phosphate, which is turned into glyceraldehyde phsophate (a glycolysis intermediate).
