So with "-mer" you mean a subunit? That is a polypeptide?
Also, what is the difference between: protein domain, polypeptide, subunit.
I guess all the three words mean the same.

I want to ask, does using a "cocktail" of drugs really work against HIV?
Is HIV similar a superbug?

Glomerulus is the capillary network that is formed by the afferent arteriole. Bowman's capsule is like a cup that holds this capillary network. Bowman's capsule filters the blood of the glomerulus. Here this pic might help you understand the difference between Glomerulus and Bowman's capsule:

I think I can help you. Even I had the same question.
According to what I know collecting tubule leads to the collecting duct. And the collecting tubule is connected to the Distal convoluted tubule on the other end.
That's how it is.

Hello everyone, this is my first post on this site. Now, in Campbell I read that Metaphase is the longest phase of mitosis lasting about 20 mins. But, some other sources say that Prophase is the longest phase. And yet some other sources say that metaphase is actually the shortest phase! I don't get ...
