Hi, I am trying to design a plasmid to be synthesised with two genes in the MCS, and appropriate RE's. I will then subclone this into a number of other vectors pET and one other. Preparing chocolate agar?

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone had experience of preparing chocolate agar? I'm new to this! When you add the blood and then stir until chocolatised, is this ok to be done on a heated stirrer? The concern I have is that the heat won't be uniform, but will this still be sufficient to chocolatise? L
