i have some uncertainty regarding robertsonian translocation. if i have only one cell, how am i able to do the karyotyping? i understand that the Robertsonian Translocation is translocation between acrocentric chromosome. is there any probe that able to detect the translocation? I would like to know that if i have only one cell, wat is the method the enable me to get the karyotype of the chromosome?

as i know we can do it from blood extraction. however this time i only supply with only one cell.

Question on sequencing

i've got a result from my sequencing. when i blast it (eg. aattgcg), it is not related to the spesies that i wan. when i blast it reversely (eg. gcgttaa), it shows that it is related to my spesies. how can we explain it?
