I really dont think protein came first, because since the world was so hot back then, the proteins would have easily denatured.

co2 first because there is a LOT of it in the atmosphere because of cars and trains and fires etc.

then water vapor, because it's not toxic which would cause other reactions making things worse..

then methane because there is very little of it anywhere.

there is a disease called Mange where animals lose their fur. In patches or altogether. You probably just saw a sick stray cat or raccoon that was very deformed. Perhaps one with mange. :shock:

I think that's a plant. Just look where he hooked it from. (you can see hook in upper picture) sure sign of plant-ness. :mrgreen:
