fairly standard in the UK everybody goes paranoid about companies putting money inot education or research - it seems really stupid. still overhere if you want to kill a project ask for govement money then try and keep the buerocrats happy!

my advice would be don't bother the solution is to opaque for it to work well - count the cells under a microscope. Sorry if your set on using one i am sure someone will work out how - i jsut dislike them.

ulbrid you put your finger on it all adding the methelyne blue then heationg does is make it harder to tell dead and alive apart under the microscope?

Steen: Respiration constists of hundreds of chemical reactions involving a goodly number of enzymes and as module 2 should remind us respiration does not have to be completed to yeild ATP. But yes valid point if your not a nutter like me!lol
