The tube passing from each kidney to the bladder for the conveyance of urine. Its average length is 25 to 30 centimetres. Either of a pair of thick-walled tubes that carry urine from the kidney to the urinary bladder.The duct responsible for transporting urine from the kidney to the bladder where it will be excreted sometime soon via the urethra.
