Tayras are members of the Mustelidae group which includes weasels, ferrets, polecats, wolverines, badgers, otters, and ect. The Tayra is a carnivorous animal and it is also endangered due to deforestation and poaching. The tayra is also kept as an exotic pet in various places across the planet. This organism is mainly on the treetops hunting for food but often hunts on the ground. ![]()
