swyer-james syndrome

(Science: radiology) unilateral hyperlucent lung, Macleod syndrome, may be bilateral, hyperlucency and air-trapping, decreased pulmonary arteries, paucity of bronchial subdivisions with or without proximal bronchiectasis, history of early and recurrent lower respiratory tract infections, possibly secondary to obliterative bronchitis/bronchiolitis (adenovirus?)
