I could send but 7A looked kind of purplish and pretty much stayed where I put it, was circular. 7B was white and fanned out all around the streak kind of like clouds, if that makes any sense. I kind of think 7A is salmonella 7B has me stumped!!!

Re: growing E coli from a starter cultureI guess the "proper" way is to gouge out a bit of the culture and streak it onto plates (with the appropriate selective media), grow the plate overnight, and then start a fresh culture from a single colony on the plate. It also depends on whether you're ...
