From spin. Spinning gland, the red spider. Spinning wheel, a machine for spinning yarn or thread, in which a wheel drives a single spindle, and is itself driven by the hand, or by the foot acting on a treadle.

Lost Protein?

... loading buffer to the eluted samples a lot of white precipitate falls out... I've just been heating the sample for 10 min at 100degrees C and then spinning down the precipitate after the sample cooled down. Could this be a reason I'm not seeing my protein on the gels? Thanks, Brian

Including all of the relevant anatomical structures (and ending with the activation of the cranial nerve), explain how we sense spinning in a chair. What happens when the chair is suddenly stopped?
