Results from our forumheyy if anyone can help... that you can find easily enough from the books, or simply search from the internet. there are 4 bases that builds the nucleic acid, comprises purine (adenine and guanine) and pyrimidine (thymine (in DNA)/uracil (in RNA), and cytosine). it's the gene expression. every cell that builds the body ...

Miller experiment and it's contribution to origin of life... this one were done yielding more complex results such as: - all 20 amino acids, ATP, some sugars, lipids and even more complex compounds such as purine and pyrimidine bases of RNA and DNA I mean, how can you argue against all of these evidences?... life must have originated in this fashion... ...

DMSO in PCR... DNA, how is the mechanism? One mechanism that I can imagine is that DMSO is a relatively weak acid, so it readily destabilizes DNA by disturbing purine-deoxyribose bond, yielding apurinic acid. Is it true? Thanks. Victor Apriel

The Fiber Disease... for a single amino acid. Each nucleotide sub-unit consists of a phosphate, deoxyribose sugar and one of the 4 nitrogenous nucleotide bases. The purine bases adenine (A) and guanine (G) are larger and consist of two aromatic rings. The pyrimidine bases cytosine (C) and thymine (T) are smaller ...

repair mechanism?it could be fatal: it may give you ulcers. now, from what i have read, caffeine does induce mutations in bacteria by inhibiting an enzyme linked in purine synthesis. however, humans posses a slightly different enzyme for purine synthesis at that stage and caffeine acts only as a mild inhibitor and ...
