1. One who, or that which, planes; a planing machine; especially, a machine for planing wood or metals.

2. A wooden block used for forcing down the type in a form, and making the surface even. Planer centers. See Center.

Colesterol is not aromatic, remember its only aromatic if the molecule is planer so that the delocalized electrons can "move" freely.
