why Sugar got sweet taste?

That's because our papilla lingualis (filiformis/fungiformis) have a kinda stereospecific receptor for certain molecule....since Oxygen is not a stereogenic molecule, then it's not sweet...:lol: sorry...I forgot to add this thing...:lol:
