Pap technique

PAP technique

1. (Science: gynaecology) Colloquial abbreviation for papanicolaou's stain.

2. (Science: technique) peroxidase antiperoxidase method for obtaining an enhanced peroxidase reaction to indicate antibody binding to antigen.

In the first stage the material, for example a section, is reacted with a specific antiserum (say rat) against the antigen. In the next stage a large excess of say rabbit antirat immunoglobulin is applied so that only one of the binding sites is bound to the first antibody.

Then a rat antiperoxidase antiserum is bound to the second antibody unfilled sites and finally peroxidase is added and binds to the third antiserum before the peroxidase is used to develop a colour reaction.

Micelle

... and have some...maybe dumb questions. So, are there any easy ways to manufacture micelles with standard laboratory equipment? I think, if the technique is established, it shouldn't be a problem to insert some special gangliosides into the membrane, right? And third, is there a way to let them ...

... to frog is not present in the nucleus of a frog's standard cell? Any idea in which cell part that info is available? Also if the same cloning technique is applied to a butterfly does it mean that the cloned product will not proceed beyond larval stage? Regards, Koyal

... I can get 20uL for a cost. I assume I derive the DNA sequence from this, thus allowing me to create the gene.....right?..through an automated technique. I guess my question is...what technique I need to determine the DNA of the antibody?.....how much antibody do I need to use with this technique?...any ...
