omental branches --> epiploic branches

branches to the greater omentum; epiploic branches arise from the left and right gastroepiploic arteries (rami omentales arteriae gastro-omentalis sinistrae et dextrae ) opposite the gastric branches (rami gastrici ) along the greater curvature of the stomach.

Synonym: rami omentales, omental branches, rami epiploicae.
