Netherton's syndrome

(Science: syndrome) congenital ichthyosiform erythroderma or ichthyosis linearis circumscripta associated with bamboo hair, and irregularly with atopy, urticaria, intermittent aminoaciduria, and mental retardation; probably an autosomal recessive trait that frequently resolves or improves in adolescence.
