Nectarines

nectarine

(Science: botany) A smooth-skinned variety of peach. Spanish nectarine, the plumlike fruit of the west Indian tree Chrysobalanus Icaco; also called cocoa plum. It is made into a sweet conserve which a largely exported from cuba.
