molar

(Science: mechanics) Of or pertaining to a mass of matter; said of the properties or motions of masses, as distinguished from those of molecules or atoms.

Origin: L. Moles mass.

(Science: anatomy) Any one of the teeth back of the incisors and canines. The molar which replace the deciduous or milk teeth are designated as premolars, and those which are not preceded by deciduous teeth are sometimes called true molars. See tooth.

I have a graph of absorbance against concentrations of BCG dye at 614 nm. I have been asked to estimate the molar extinction coefficient for BCG from the graph and show how my value was calculated. The Molecular weight values for BCG is 698. I simply do not know where to start! ...
