Why not hundreds of different sexes, why only two ?

... one gender could mate with two others, but one of the two others could only mate with one other. Biochemically that would be very complicated. A maximum of two sexes was likely just the simplest, most efficient way to breed safely.

Lab of Vmax and KM

Vmax = 0.005033 mM/min KM = 23.41 So that I completely understand: the maximum velocity this enzyme can react at is 0.005022 mM/min at which time it will be totally saturated. ... part of the question: 3 nucleotides (called a codon) code for an amino acid. and proteins are made up of amino acids. therefore there must be a maximum of 220 amino acids ( 660 divided by 3) hope this helped. dont hesitate to ask if you need more explaining
