1. Of or pertaining to tears; as, lachrymal effusions.

2. (Science: anatomy) Pertaining to, or secreting, tears; as, the lachrymal gland. Pertaining to the lachrymal organs; as, lachrymal bone; lachrymal duct.

Origin: cf. F. Lacrymal. See Lachrymose.
