Intramuscular injection

(Science: technique) a technique to deliver a medication into muscle tissue for its eventual absorption into the systemic circulation. Smaller volume intramuscular injections may be given into the deltoid, but larger volumes are usually given into the gluteus muscle.

Desferal - Intramuscular Administrations??
