(Science: cell biology) nuclear or cytoplasmic structures with characteristic staining properties, usually found at the site of virus multiplication. Semi crystalline arrays of virions, capsids or other viral components.

Inclusions found in pineapple cells

Why do you think those inclusions have anything to do with it? I would think irritation is due to very mild ... though I am not sure whether or not it would be located in said inclusion bodies. Can you post a picture of your slide?

baculovirus / insect cell / strange "crystals"?

... with AcMNPV by any chance?) - both have tendency to form crystals or inclusion bodies under certain conditions, in certain expression systems... although I have to admit ...
