Results from our forumRe:... me on what specifically you cannot see possible about the cambrian explosion, and when contemplating your answer be sure to have an image of an exponential function in your mind. Are you trying to imply that we must base our arguments on reason and logic? Why, I have never heard of such a concept! ...

Re: New perspectives in theory of evolution... of time (like optical delusion when we see close objects more precisely than far). And it is rather sure that such development will not be undergo exponential growth, so it must be under logistic. http://wm59.inbox.com/thumbs/b_19cf00_a148cffd_oG.gif.thumb In 1972 J.S.Gould ...

Logistic growth modelling in plants... by means of a simple [measure/age] division or should I use some sort of specific formula? (I got this doubt when looking at a formula for an exponential growth model: r = ln (pf / pi) / n , where pf and pi are the final and initial measures [or extreme values] of the variable for every variate ...

argument against the uranium-in-zircon dating... you should not find helium unless low temperatures are involved. Especially important being peak temperatures experienced since diffusivity is exponential with temp. Personally I'm no geologist so I have no idea what's right or wrong. Here's a rebuttal from talkorigins. http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/helium/original.html
