Charcot-weiss-baker syndrome --> carotid sinus syndrome

(Science: syndrome) stimulation of a hyperactive carotid sinus, causing a marked fall in blood pressure due to vasodilation, cardiac slowing, or both; syncope with or without convulsions or a-v block may occur.
