Centigrade

Centigrade --> celsius

(Science: unit) a measurement of temperature (celsius or centigrade) that is commonly used in Europe.

normal body temperature is considered to be 37 degrees celsius or 98.6 degrees fahrenheit. Body temperature can vary 1/2 degree Celsius above or below 37 c and still be considered normal. Body temperature varies with many factors including level of activity.

to convert a fahrenheit temperature to celsius use: c = (f-32) x 5/9. To convert a celsius temperature to fahrenheit use: f = (c x 9/5) _ 32

Re: Ligation and expression trouble

1) first of all, as a random fact: the optimum temperature for t4 ligase is 16 centigrade (i don't know why, so don't ask me). Now, ALL PROTEINS have to be kept on ice AT ALL TIMES. if you leave them at higher temperature that that (even RT) they misfold and eventually ...

about ZZW triploid female silkworm,Bombyx mori

... about the form of ZZW triploid female silkworm by using hot water treament .I know the method summarily: the eggs were treated with hot water(46 centigrade,18min) immediately after oviposition(0~10min).this hot-water treatment causes the fusion of an ameiotic femal pronucleus,2n(ZW),with a male ...

Heart rate and temperature

... the energy source to drive each contraction. A chemical reaction approximately doubles its rate every time you increase the temperature 10 degrees centigrade, and approximately halves its rate every time you decrease the temperature 10 degrees centigrade. Therefore, when you catch a cold and begin ...
