Results from our forumefficiency of body cells... y for the body do it. For example not all well-developed cells of the islets-of-langerhans synthesise insulin, not all liver cells secrete bile etc etc I know nothing worthy of mentioning about biology but thought you guys could say if he is right. Food Microbiology - Escherichia coli O157:H7 in Meat... O157:H7 no need for blood agar, Nutrient agar is not selective so not good. SMAC is used for isolation of O157:H7 as it will select for coliforms (bile salts) and O157:H7 uses sorbitol, it will become a nice red (if my memory is still OK)
