Avidin

(Science: protein) biotin binding protein (68 kD) from egg White. Binding is so strong as to be effectively irreversible a diet of raw egg White leads to biotin deficiency.

as far as I know, glycosylation signals are conserved among all eukaryotes. For example, I just expressed chicken avidin into yeast and it gets glycosylated just fine
