'Female' sex organ of liver-worts, mosses, ferns and related plants, and of most gynosperms. multicellular, with neck composed of one or more tiers of cells, and swollen base (venter) containing egg-cell.

Well in plants an embroyo is defined as an immature sporopyte that develops from a zygote within an ovule or archegonium after fertilization. ebroyos are actualy just immature plantelets. they are multi-cellular, and can be many different shapes.

Question about Kingdom Plantae

anteridium produces ovum, archegonium produces sperm. "nuturents"? you mean nutriens? do you talking about Bryophyta or Pteridophyta? which one? moss..? how about from its gametophyt it gets those nutrients? if it is Bryophyta it is haploid, ...
