A layer

(Science: molecular biology) right handed double helical dna with approximately 11 residues per turn. Planes of base pairs in the helix are tilted 20 deg away from perpendicular to the axis of the helix. Formed from B dna by dehydration.

Micelle

No you need specialized equipment, last I heard one of the labs on campus was using a layer of lipids and then pushing thru the layer perpendicularly to create the micelles. Unfortunately it's a work in progress i.e. no details being divulged.

Problems related to Microsome Preparation
