A chain

A chain

a polypeptide component of insulin containing 21 amino acyl residues, beginning with a glycyl residue (NH2-terminus); insulin is formed by the linkage of an a chain to a b chain by two disulfide bonds; the amino-acid composition of the a chain is a function of species.

Synonym: glycyl chain.

In general, one of the polypeptides in a multiprotein complex.

What molecule(s) do these start and end with? Krebs cycle Respiratory chain (eg. glycolysis starts with 1 molecule of glucose and ends with 2 molecules of pyruvate)

Converting to energy source- glycolysis etc..

So here is what i know so far glycolysis --> pyruvate oxidation --> citric acid cycle --> electron transport chain --> produces a total of 32 ATP So here is what i am confused about. For plants, they go through photophosphorylation instead of the oxidative phosphorylation ...

How much research has been done the role of feral species who may upset the food chain like the asian carp in the Mississippi, or cain toads in Australia? How much factor would this be in natural selection?
