As a matter of fact, even if doesn't appear in the website given by mithril, posting only smileys is against the rules of this forum. Mostly because it,s not very pertinent, and it takes time to read useles posts. Even more so for the poor mods who have to keep an eye on everything to keep the forum Nice and tidy

No problem. I was just pointing out something. The Off-topic forum anyway is a little more relax about rules, even thoughbasic netiquette applies.
Note that all the smileys in the dictionnary will appear as a yellow face on the board. and some are coded by text string between colons like
is coded by : evil : (remove the spaces).
But it would be nice to have people conforming to the netiquette, because the clean-up is usually time consuming for the mods....

Ok
thanx.
I dont want to break any rules because I want to stick around I love this forum. I learn something new every time I visit!
And its hard for some people to realize that some people are still babes with computers.
when I was a teen we only had pin ball. and we used something called typewriters in highschool.
and the newest thing replacing eight tracks were tapes but I didnt have a tape until about 1979.
I got my first computer in 2000. But was too busy then to join forums.
And I am not even that old.
lol

I got my first computer in 2000, too! And of course we all love this forum, except for the panic-studies who only join for a quick answer to a homework question. I vote that we take over the internet by force and make it our own private empire. Vive le biologie!

Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.

Yeah! Let's make it a french speaking biology only area. We may feel lonely though...
