pH of ammonium carbonateI can't remember what pH ammonium carbonate is.
I've searched http://en.wikipedia.org.wiki/Ammonium_carbonate but I can't find the answer there. I need to know the pH so I can find out if phenolphthalein would work better in a titration with HCl than screened methyl orange would. Thanks for the help. Without science there is nothing.
#20 highest post count.
Re: pH of ammonium carbonateA solution of 100g/l in water at 20 C has a pH of 9.
PHP should work at pH of 9.
