mutated DNA sequence

Postby sarahx on Mon Apr 28, 2008 12:03 am

Suppose the following DNA sequence was mutated from AGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAG to AGAAGAGAGATCGAGAGA. What amino acid sequence will be generated in the mutated DNA?

You can 1) either look up the translation table and translate such a small sequence by hand or 2) you can go to http://expasy.org/cgi-bin/dna_aa and get your answer that way.

Cat is right.Usually tables are given for stuff that is impractical to know (memorise) entirely.
