Re: PLEASE HELP! arguments in evolutionScience isn't about proof, it's about testable hypotheses and evidence. Creationism has them but the problem with testable hypotheses is that they are falsifiable, and the evidence that shows those hypotheses to be false is huge and varied, while there is no credible evidence supporting them.
I don't see why people keep perpetuating myths, but periodically we need articles to come out again.

Re: PLEASE HELP! arguments in evolution
the big bang is not a testable hypothesis My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind~Einstein
and what do you mean by a testable hypothesis is falsifiable?

You should read up on what the scientific method is. Terms like falsifiability and testablity are basic assumptions and definitions.

Re: PLEASE HELP! arguments in evolutionFirst, the Big Bang isn't evolution. However, it is a testable hypothesis. Predictions from Big Bang theory have been tested in particle physics, astronomical observations, and the background microwave radiation. I wouldn't consider the evidence overwhelming, since it is limited and indirect, but it's there.
However, evidence for biological evolution, which is under discussion here, is broad and deep.
Re: PLEASE HELP! arguments in evolutionevolution couldnt of happened with out the big bang right?

Re: PLEASE HELP! arguments in evolution1. gases and chemicals magically appear
2. they explode 3. earth and rest of our solar system forms 4. evolution from exploding chemicals simple proteins form in primordial soup do i have it wrong? Re: PLEASE HELP! arguments in evolutionits your theory deary
i was trying to explain why i thought evolution wasnt possible without the big bang My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind~Einstein
