role of stress related genescan anybody tell the role of following stress related genes like
ERD4, ACT domain, Ascorbate peroxidase and zink finger in plants
i think that at least ascorbate peroxidase would be obvious.
Zinc finger is not a gene, it is a DNA binding motif. "As a biologist, I firmly believe that when you're dead, you're dead. Except for what you live behind in history. That's the only afterlife" - J. Craig Venter
You listed only 2 genes: ERD4 and Ascorbate peroxidase. First is a membrane protein that conjugates with HSPs and second detoxifies peroxides. The other two are not genes: ACT domain is small molecule binding domain and zinc finger was explained by Mr. Mystery.
