role of stress related genes

can anybody tell the role of following stress related genes like
ERD4, ACT domain, Ascorbate peroxidase and zink finger in plants

i think that at least ascorbate peroxidase would be obvious.
Zinc finger is not a gene, it is a DNA binding motif.

You listed only 2 genes: ERD4 and Ascorbate peroxidase. First is a membrane protein that conjugates with HSPs and second detoxifies peroxides. The other two are not genes: ACT domain is small molecule binding domain and zinc finger was explained by Mr. Mystery.
