Interesting facts on CentipedesCan someone tell me some interesting fact on centipedes like habits and behaviors.
The female is fertilized internally and lays around 60 sticky eggs in a whole that she digs. In some species, the female cares for the eggs and hatchlings.
ok thank you all for your help
last questions 1) does it go through simple development, complete metamorphosis, or incomplete metamorphosis? 2)What spcial adaptations does it have that make it fit to survive the enviorment? Thank you all i am really grateful
Centipedes have incomplete metamorphosis: young centipedes hatch from eggs and look like small adults. Centipedes shed their skin (a process called "molting") as they grow into adults, usually adding legs each time they molt.
