Eye lasersurgery - IntraLase/FemtosecondHi
I'm considering eye laser surgery using the latest technology: IntraLase/Femtosecond. Does anybody know if it's really safe or know any bieffects of performing such operation? The technology is new in the form of using pure laser, no microknife involved for cutting the layer of the eye. It is also said that IntraLase is the only method accepted by NASA when they perform laser surgery on their astronauhts. I'm just afraid my eyes are going to fall out or something in 20-30 years... Is it possible...? Or am I overreacting a bit? Here's a website about IntraLase: http://www.intralase.com/ Any comments or advice is highly appreciated. Thank you.
