Is there any exception?

Postby mashimlro on Sun Mar 30, 2008 12:27 am

"Different types of cells contain the same genes"

Are there any exceptions for this statement? (such as, different types of cells CAN contain different genes)

Thank you for your help

Mature T cells and B cells have undergone genomic rearrangement. This allows them to produce unique TCRs/antibodies from a gene that is created through recombination/mutation.
