have you done any reading?

Re:
Is this forum just for students? I don't have any homework and thought that this place would be more reliable than a google search. I guess I could hunt down my Microbiology professor to get a good reliable answer, but it disgruntles me that you just can't simply answer the question. I have my AS in Forestry and a BS in nursing, and if anyone has a question about how to make a culvert or how to do read a blood lipid profile, I answer them. I certainly don't say "go look it up" after all, isn't asking a question a form of "looking it up"?
Please, don’t get upset, but there is no way of knowing whether you are a student or not and I gather some students try to cheat using this website. Here are the answers to your questions:
1. substrate-level phosphorylation is an enzymatic process and occurs in cytoplasm 2. chemiosmosis involves proton-motive force driven ATP synthase and occurs in mitochondria cristae, thylocoid membrane of chloroplast, and cell membrane of some bacteria Also feel free to ask me through my website.
Re: ATPThe following courses are required for admission to the nursing program:
BIOL 100 General Biology (3)|BIOL 107 General Biology - (4) | Lecture and Laboratory CHEM 102 Introduction to General, (5)|CHEM 100 & Fundamentals of (3) Organic, and Biological | Chemistry Chemistry with Laboratory |CHEM 100L & Fundamentals of (1) | Chemistry Laboratory |CHEM 130 & Introduction to (3) | Organic and | Biological Chemistry |CHEM 130L Introduction to (1) | Organic and | Biological Chemistry | Laboratory OR | OR CHEM 130 Elementary Organic (3)|CHEM 130 Introduction to (3) Chemistry | Organic and Biological | Chemistry COMM 103 Oral Communication (3)|BLAS 106 Black Oral Expression (3) | and Interpretation | OR |SPEE 103 Oral Communication (3) PSY 101 Introductory Psychology (3)|PSYC 101 General Psychology (3) SOC 101 Introductory Sociology: (3)|SOCO 101 Principles of (3) The Study of Society | Sociology BIOL 210 Fundamentals of (4)|BIOL 205 General Microbiology (5) Microbiology | BIOL 212 Human Anatomy (4)|BIOL 230 Human Anatomy (4) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These are just Freshman and Sophmore classes, I did not include the remaining years. I find it hard to believe than anyone with a BS in nursing does not know Freshman level material. Yeah, this still sounds like homework to me, and by looking at your previous post I am sure of it. Well, at least you found someone willing to do your work for you.
mike, OP could be one of those people going back to school(adult students), so they're not necessarily lying. Heck I've forgotten all the multivariable calc I took last semester.
However ,that said, Bioslave, if you ask your microbio prof that question, they'll probably tell you to read the assigned text. Living one day at a time;

Re: ATP
"The" Nursing program?. As if there were just one.. Each nursing program has its own pre reqs. And the ones you list are about half of what I had to take to get into the BSN program at HSU (minus all those Chem classes you listed, I only needed Chem 2 and Organic Chem). When you have been out of school for 6 years, all of the facets of cellular respiration don't exactly stick in the front of your mind.. And for the record, I don't think any college level Biology class gives you "Homework" (mine certainly didn't): you study your ass off via the books and lecture notes, take the exams, and do the lab work. Kick it out.
