Chipmunk: Species identificationHi, i looked every where for the characterics of why the Hopi Chipmunk are in these taxons:
Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata Class: Mammalia Order: Rodentia Family: Sciuridae Genus: Tamias Species: T. rufus ...can you guys help me out on this please!

-Animalia: Muticelluar heterotrophs that use oxygen and can reproduce sexually. -Chordata: Notochords and nerve chords -Mammalia: middle ear bones, hair, mammary glands -Rodentia: specialized teeth -Sciuridae: skull structure -Tamias: pouched cheeks
There may be a little more involved.
