More Questions on Circulatory System

Postby vertciel on Sun Feb 24, 2008 10:16 pm

Hello everyone,

I have the following questions on the circulatory system.

Thanks in advance!

---

1. In general, one-way valves are found in lymph vessels, veins, and the heart muscle. There wouldn't be any in the artery because blood is continually flowing away from the heart under high pressure?

2. Why would there be capillaries in our feet and legs? What would the feet and legs need a one RBC-wide diameter vessel for?

Most people would ignore these questions because you haven't given your answer or any evidence that you have looked it up for yourself.

Draco is certainly right, why don't you give it a little try first? Cheers.

Yes, try your answer and let us know whether you have a correct or wrong answer. At least you try.
