Missing Link between Modern Apes & Humans Impossible?Moderator: BioTeam

Apes would have been the intelligent ones wondering what it would be like if humans were on top
This is just conjecture, but I'd think it would be pretty close to our own. Where apes have similar body structures, they wouldn't "need" technology much different from our own.
Guess you're right there. What would the technology be like if...............ants ruled the world. lol

Why is it that you all wonder what is the difference between us and the apes when we are also an ape? We are all in the same family! Only the old religions separate us out as if we were something entirely different. Between us and the other apes, there is a varryfing degree of stages or transitions. There is no "the" missing link. Every link or intermediate stage we do not have a specimin of is a temporary "missing link" until it is found. We will never be able to find every single one, and we don't need to.
I think we are closer to the chimp that the chimp is to the gorilla. Can anyone verify that? Our social arrangments are very much like the chimp but the gorilla is very different. Also, he is extremely gender dimorphic. That is, the males are almost twice as large as the females. That makes for a very lot of difference! charles http://humanpurpose.simplenet.com
You're right about never truly finding the missing link....since these finds are discrete quantities there will always be someone who clamours for something in between.

I asked between Modern Apes and humans. This is the difference between what you are saying and what I originally asked. We are more closely related to the ancestral apes than we are modern apes because of the many years that have passed since the evolutionary tree split.
