InterviewHello friends,
For a school project I am exploring religion. I currently consider myself agnostic, and for the project portion of this project I am following Christianity for the semester. For the paper part of the project however, I am writing it along the lines of Darwin's theory of Natural Selection makes improbable the idea of Intelligent Design. Here is where a problem come up. It is necessary that I have an interview with somebody that is knowledgeable on the topic. Now, I am not associated with anybody that I know that would be of any real use, so I ask you, could you be of assistance? It won't take long, it can be done publicly or privately. Thank you greatly, PenCapBlue
You would be better off using references from books, and journals. These types of references give more credibilty than say Snoopydog on Bio forum. And a credible paper is usually taken more seriously, and given higher grades. With that said, it never hurts to get other opinions and ideas for your paper.
his assignment is to talk to a biologist or something. I suggest visiting your local college/university to see a prof. I remember someone did that at my high school once. It worked out well.

I'd be more than willing to help but I doubt I have much credibility.
Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.

Re: InterviewI've got to say that I have a problem with the basic premise - Darwinian ideas don't make ID probable or improbable. Unnecessary, yes, but nothing beyond that.
Re: Interview
You make a good point; I would think it has a lot to do with exactly how one defines ID. I hold certain philosophical beliefs that could be considered ID-ish, but I very much disagree with what is normally put forward as ID theory. Actually I was being honest. I've studied this subject a lot on my own time but I have no formal education above my freshman year of college, and hence no solid credentials.
