Evolution and organic variationhi' does anyone know what is the word word for a nonevolving gene pool or who developed a theory of mutation
thanks
Re: Evolution and organic variationYour first question....A word for a genetically static population would be....fiction
Darwin came up with the Descent with Modification therory but Alferd W. Russel came up with a similar theory around the same time.
Mutation theory could've also been Gregor Mendel, the so-called Father of Genetics.
Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.

Hugo De Vries developed a theory of mutation!!! Now, nonevolving gene pool is said to be in The Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium (look up Hardy-Weinberg theorem).
