allopatric/sypatric speciationIs there difference between the two besides geography or can anyone explain how allopatric/sypatric speciation happens or have examples?
You're right, the difference is in where the speciation occurred, in the same place or in different places.
Allopatric often occurs thru something called founder's effect. Basically a "founding group" leaves and starts a colony somewhere else, kinda like australian and american english compared to the British English Living one day at a time;
