Using agricultural biofuel is recycling recently captured carbon as opposed to fossil carbon in petroleum.

I'll agree that it seems silly to chop down a rainforest (read carbon sink) to install a "sustainable fuel" operation.

The land isn't even fertile once the bio fuel is harvested so they need to clear more rainforest to grow more of the palm oil.
Without science there is nothing.
