what happens if cytokinesis happens before mitosis?

this question is really confusing! what happens? so far i have 2x as many daughter cells, and half the size of normal cells. probably half the amount of normal chromosomes, too. anything i forgot?

How can you separate the chromosomes without mitosis?

would you not just end up with 2 cells, whereof one would be without nucleus?

well it seems we are dealing with a hypothetical situation, as the cell has countless mechanisms in place to ensure the cell goes through the cycle in the correct order. it goes without saying that a cell with no nucleus would not stay around for very long...
